EZ GUARD DRY FILM 10

EZ GUARD FILM SERIES is series of four oil-based rust preventative treatments that allow you to choose the level of film thickness you require. The four blends EZ GUARD DRY FILM 10 EZ GUARD LIGHT FILM EZ GUARD MEDIUM FILM 18 and EZ GUARD HEAVY FILM 19 are based on the same unique blend of petroleum solvents and corrosion inhibitors that allow superior corrosion resistance leaving behind a controllable film from dry to wet to touch. They are designed to be used as received and will impart an excellent corrosion-resistant film that exceeds one year of indoor storage in most applications.

EZ GUARD FILM 10 s appearance on film is 100% dry. Indoor protection covers 8- months and outdoor protection cover 3-4 months. Viscosity (Zahn Cup#2 @ 75F) is 10 and Coverage (m2/Litre) is 0. Drying time at 20C is 10 minutes and at 50C is 2 minutes.

EZ GUARD FILM SERIES is specially designed to be applied at room temperature by spray immersion or brush application. However, in an immersion dip, its powerful water-replacing benefits will impart the strongest corrosion-resistant film. EZ GUARD FILM SERIES is a multi-metal safe product that does not have the typical petroleum solvent odour of solvent-based rust inhibitors. EZ GUARD FILM SERIES allows you a spectrum of applications to choose the thickness of the film to best meet your requirements.

EZ GUARD FILM SERIES should be applied as quickly as possible after cleaning the solvent should be allowed to fully evaporate before parts are handled packaged or stored. EZ GUARD FILM SERIES products will displace water; it can be applied to parts after a water rinse. Be sure to dump out trapped water in blind holes and cavities prior to applying. EZ GUARD FILM SERIES products can be removed with any quality petroleum or alkaline cleaning compound. Do not apply without prior testing on non-metallic parts such as fabric rubber cork paper or plastic. The product series creates long lasting baths that are stable from acid or alkaline drag in. Water will go to the bottom of the EZ GUARD FILM SERIES tank and the bottom should be bled off periodically to prevent production pieces from contacting any water.
