EZ KLEEN PICKLE PROTECT 250 is an acidic cleaner designed to clean, brighten and provide corrosion protection. EZ KLEEN PICKLE PROTECT 250 will remove scale, oxidation, rust and burn-off pigment residues. EZ KLEEN PICKLE PROTECT 250 contains a unique corrosion protection package with the capability of up to 90 days of cold-rolled steel indoor protection in a single process step.

A typical application is by immersion. Tank and equipment materials should be of acid-resistant construction such as Stainless Steel, Teflon, Polypropylene and PVDF (Kynar). The required concentrations and temperatures will depend on the severity of the scales or residues to remove, as well as the desired cycle times. The full temperature range is Ambient – 125° F. Temperatures in excess of 125° F may cause an attack on the base metal and form carbon smut. The final step should be followed by a dry-off. Air dry-off is acceptable, but a heated dry-off is highly recommended.
